Worthington Avenue in Jefferson Hills that connects Rt. 51 to the City of Clairton is closed to through traffic indefinitely due to an ongoing threat of mud and hill slides. Local traffic will have access from Clairton to Peterson and Oneida Drives from the east and traffic from the west can access the Interchange Lounge. This is an Allegheny County road and the County will be posting detours as the road may be closed for an extended period of time. [ for more]

Registration has ended for children in the 5-8 year old group at Gill Hall Park. We still have a few openings left for the 9-12 year olds at 885 Andrew Reilly Park. Register at the front desk at Jefferson Hills Library. The Camp Rules and schedule of daily events for each park are now posted on the web site.  See the Menu on the left "Summer Recreation"

Robyn Long, a graduate student in Vocal Performance Study at Duquesne University, has been selected to participate in the Bologna International Opera Academy this July in Bologna, Italy. Robyn is a 2009 graduate of TJ High School and was the homecoming queen.
