Ms. Levander has served as Borough Manager in McKees Rocks, PA since 2010. A native of Rostraver Township, Ms. Levander holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh and has extensive experience in Grant Writing within the municipal government setting. She also has experience in the area of municipal finance, personnel management, community development and collective bargaining agreements.Ms. Levander replaces Mr. Douglas Arndt who retired in August, 2015. The Borough's search for the new Borough Manager was conducted with the help of Mr. Michael Foreman of the PA Department of Community and Economic Development.
"We are pleased to have Ms. Levander join our team," said Council President, Mr. Christopher King. "She has a strong work ethic and takes a proactive approach to her job. We think she will fit in well with our already strong staff and raise the bar for everybody," he said. Ms. Levander will begin her duties at the Borough on July 11, 2016.
