Jefferson Hills Police Officer Stephanie Behers is Promoted to Sergeant
Sergeant
Behers was hired by the Jefferson Hills Police Department
June 13, 2005 following her graduation from the Allegheny County Police
Training
Academy. With her promotion she will remain assigned to the patrol
unit but now as a shift Sergeant. In addition to her patrol duties and
responsibilities, Sergeant Behers will continue with her assignment to a
variety of other police department collateral
duties that include field training officer, background investigator,
Agency JTAC and CLEAN TAC officer and assistant department evidence custodian.
Surrounded by her co-workers, family and friends, Officer Behers
accepted the congratulations of Police Chief Gene Roach, Mayor Jan Cmar
and Council President Chris King.
