Local traffic will be allowed on the closed sections of Cochran Mill Road and Waterman Road, but drivers will not be able to cross the intersection of those roads. The closures are required for partial replacement of Lick Run Bridge No. 8 (Waterman Road West Tunnel) and a sanitary line. Waterman Road West will remain open for local traffic from Gill Hall Road to Washington Square. Cochran Mill Road will be closed from the dance studio to Wallace Drive. Local traffic will be able to access the Smith Industrial Complex.
Detour signs will be posted in the area. Cochran Mill Road traffic will be detoured using Wallace Road, Ridge Road and Riggs Road. Waterman Road traffic will be detoured using Cochran Mill Road, Brownsville Road, Curry Hollow Road, Clairton Boulevard (Route 51), Clairton Boulevard and Gill Hall Road.
