Jefferson Hills Resident Completes His Eagle Scout Project
Sam Organist recently completed his Eagle Scout project, the new custom sign and surrounding landscaping at the entrance to 885 Andrew Reilly Memorial Park.  
Volunteers Needed for Annual Earth Day Cleanup of our Roads and Neighborhoods
Families,  businesses and church and school groups are signing up to help with the Borough's annual Earth Day cleanupof our roads and neigborhoods on Saturday morning, April 22 from 8:30 to Noon. Tri-Community Anglers and Peters Creek Watershed Association to Present Program at the Borough
Attention Sportsmen! The Tri-Community Anglers Association will present a program at our Municipal Center Commuity Room on Tuesday evening April 4 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Department of Environmental Protection and Allegheny County Health Department Mandate Unfunded Upgrades to Local Sewer Systems
The Borough of Jefferson Hills, along with adjoining municipalities, is being mandated  by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the Allegheny County Health Department to undertake multiple sewer modernization projects brought on by new environmental regulations and overflows (called discharges) from antiquated pipes.

Montour Trail Named State's 2017 Trail of the Year
Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Secretary Cindy Adams Dunn today announced the Montour Trail in Allegheny and Washington counties that runs through the Peters Creek has been named the state's 2017 Trail of the Year. 
Borough Seeking Volunteers for its Fire Companies
The Borough's three VFD fire companies, Gill Hall, Jefferson Hills 885 Area and Floreffe, are staffed by men and women who volunteer their time and skills to serve our community. Currently, the three companies are appealing for fire fighters and residents with administrative skills to join their teams. Collectively, our three volunteer fire departments annually answer over 400 calls, serving over 11,000 residents in an approximately 16 sq. miles area.
