Coal Valley Road No. 1 will close on Monday, October 21, 2024, as part of the PA Turnpike's Mon/Fayette Expressway Project. The closure will remain in effect for approximately six months, with an expected reopening in April 2025. The detour will follow State Route 837 and State Route 885.
