On Saturday, September 28, 2024, the Tri-Community Anglers Association (TCAA) is hosting a "Kids Fish for Fun Day" at Peters Creek Road and Waterman Road, featuring fishing, food, and prizes. Peters Creek will be stocked with 10” to 12” rainbow trout prior to the event. Kids 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Registration will take place at the intersection of Peters Creek Road & Waterman Road.
Payne Hill Road will be closed for 45 days as part of the Mon/Fayette Expressway Project. The closure will take place from Tuesday, September 17, 2024, through Thursday, October 31, 2024. The road will be closed at the intersection of Jefferson Blvd and Payne Hill Road, meaning there will be no access to Jefferson Blvd from Payne Hill.

The September Council regular voting meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 9, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. Residents are encouraged to attend in person, or watch the Facebook livestream of the meeting.
