On Saturday, September 28, 2024, the Tri-Community Anglers Association (TCAA) is hosting a "Kids Fish for Fun Day" at Peters Creek Road and Waterman Road, featuring fishing, food, and prizes. Payne Hill Road will be closed for 45 days as part of the Mon/Fayette Expressway Project. The closure will take place from Tuesday, September 17, 2024, through Thursday, October 31, 2024. The road will be closed at the intersection of Jefferson Blvd and Payne Hill Road, meaning there will be no access to Jefferson Blvd from Payne Hill.
