July 2021 Planning Commission Meeting Information
The July 2021 Planning Commission Meeting is scheduled for July 27th at 7:00 PM.  Residents are encouraged to attend in-person, or watch the Facebook live-stream of the meeting. 

Residents may sign up for public comment at the meeting, or submit a comment to be read ahead of time.  All submitted public questions and/or comments regarding agenda items will need to be received by 5:00 p.m. on July 27th to be read during the meeting.

PSA: Allegheny County Raccoon Rabies Oral Rabies Vaccination Program
Beginning July 29 and running through August 31, the Allegheny County Health Department and USDA Wildlife Services will distribute raccoon rabies vaccine baits across Allegheny County. Baits will be delivered both by hand from ground vehicles, by helicopter, and by fixed wing airplane. This effort helps reduce raccoon rabies, as well as human and pet exposures to rabid animals. PRC's Household Chemical Collection event 2021
Allegheny County's PRC Household Chemical Collection event for the 2021 season has been announced! PRC is excited to once again offer this much needed service to their friends and neighbors.
This year PRC is again taking registrations for the events. Registrations will open 1 month prior to each event, and can be made online (website listed on the flyer) or by calling the registration number (also on the flyer!)

2021 Summer Recreation Information
Summer Recreation is almost here!  Here is the important information for those attending this year:

Dates: Monday, July 5 through Friday, July 30, 2021

Location: Gill Hall Park, 1255 Gill Hall Road

Times: 9 AM until 12 Noon
Drop-off from 8:45 AM until 9 AM, pick-up from 11:45 AM until 12 Noon

Expectations: Please bring a water bottle for each child clearly marked with their name

COVID-19 Guidelines: No masks will be required in accordance with current state regulations.  If the regulations change at any time during the program, Summer Recreation requirements will be adjusted accordingly.

June 2021 Environmental Advisory Council Meeting Information
The June 2021 Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 23rd at 6:30 PM.  A livestream of the meeting will not be available at this time.  

Part of the agenda is devoted to a conversation between the EAC and ACHD regarding the Consent Agreement with the US Steel Clairton Plant.  The meeting minutes and a recording of the conversation between the EAC and ACHD will be available to the public starting on June 24, 2021 upon request.
