FIRE COMPANIES
Two independent fire companies under the umbrella of a unified fire organization serve Jefferson Hills. The two companies have mutual aid pacts with all of the immediately adjacent South Hills communities.
Each department is separately chartered and each has a long standing tradition of providing professional, volunteer fire services to the residents of Jefferson Hills.
Fire Hydrant Regulations - Please note that it is vital that residents not block fire hydrants with shrubbery or any landscaping materials. In the event of a fire, our fire companies must be able to clearly see the fire hydrants.
