Coal Valley Road Closure Beginning October 21, 2024

Coal Valley Road No. 1 will close on Monday, October 21, 2024, as part of the PA Turnpike's Mon/Fayette Expressway Project. The closure will remain in effect for approximately six months, with an expected reopening in April 2025. The detour will follow State Route 837 and State Route 885. More information about the project can be found at PA Turnpike Mon Fayette Expressway.

October 2024 Planning Commission Meeting

The Borough of Jefferson Hills Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 925 Old Clairton Road, Jefferson Hills, PA 15025. Residents may attend in person or view the Facebook livestream.

Andrew E. Reilly Memorial Park Ampihtheater Naming Contest

We need your input for naming our amphitheater's new sign! We're looking for a name that reflects the spirit of our borough and community.

Voting will occur November 4, 2024, through November 15, 2024, on a separate form.

Borough of Jefferson Hills 2024 Trick-or-Treat Information

The Borough of Jefferson Hills Trick-or-Treat will take place on Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. To indicate participation, residents are asked to turn on their front porch light that evening.

JHPD Hiring for a School Crossing Guard

The Jefferson Hills Police Department is hiring a temporary, part-time School Crossing Guard dedicated to ensuring the safety of children as they travel to and from school. In this position, you’ll be responsible for overseeing safe conduct while waiting for and exiting school buses and helping students safely cross streets.
