West Jefferson Hills Softball provides children and teens from the ages of 8 to 18 the ability to play community softball. The league works with coaches and players to develop the skills needed to play softball. Additionally, players learn the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and hard work in developing their skills in softball.
The purpose of Jaguars United is to stimulate and develop proficiency in the sport of soccer consistent with healthy character development and good sportsmanship. The league is made up of children from both Jefferson Hills and neighboring Pleasant Hills. Children and teens can compete in a variety of leagues based on traveling distances and age requirements (under 5 – under 19).
Thomas Jefferson Youth Football considers competition healthy and instructive but de-emphasizes the importance of winning and instead promotes the importance of safe participation. The league provides a place to develop young athletes football and sportsmanship skills. With over 200 players they offer a team for each of the five South Suburban Youth Football League leagues (8yr, 9yr, 10yr, 11yr, and 12/13yrs) and a 7 yr old team.
Thomas Jefferson Youth Baseball (TJYBB) is a volunteer organization dedicated to excellence in providing a quality program for the youth community. TJYBB is committed to providing coaches and parents with skills and resources needed to teach youth baseball. TJYBB strives to instill in the children of this community the ideas of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty and a sense of teamwork. It helps teach the kids to focus on the enjoyment, learning and playing of our nation’s greatest pastime.
The Pleasant Hills Roller Hockey League (PHRHL) is a community based nonprofit in-line hockey league in the South Hills. It not only serves the borough of Pleasant Hills, but all surrounding communities. PHRHL has divisions for all age groups from the ages of 5 to adults, and has over 250 players enrolled in the league. The purpose of the PHRHL is to teach our players the following: teamwork, basic skills, the playing rules, good sportsmanship, and respect for the coaches, officials, themselves and other players. The PHRHL is an instructional league where the primary purpose is TO HAVE FUN!!
Thomas Jefferson Hockey is an amateur youth hockey association that participates in leagues for various ages from the Little Jags developmental team to the high school age varsity team. The teams work to offer innovative programs to provide new players with entry into amateur ice hockey and to offer existing players an opportunity for continued development and growth.
Thomas Jefferson Youth Cheerleading presents an opportunity for beginners to learn the fundamentals of cheerleading and experienced cheerleaders to expand on what they know. Cheerleading offers cheer instruction throughout the season and a 5 day Cheerleading camp during the summer.
